Title : Mainframe Cobol Developer
Location : Peoria, IL 61630 / 100% Remote
Duration : 12 Months contract (Possible extension)
Note : This can be 100% remote. Would need to be good with going into office 1-2 times a year for weekly team meetings when asked.
Job Description : Top Skills :
- Looking for a Database Analyst / Programmer 3 (COBOL / Mainframe).
- Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Someone comfortable with mainframe applications, support, analytics, monitoring, infrastructure understanding, and troubleshooting.
- Someone comfortable working with SQL / DB2 (required).
- Someone comfortable with IMS or CICS development (required).
- Someone familiar with debugging tools like Xpeditor and Abend-Aid.
