Our client, Grasshopper , has an immediate need for an Area Manager / Lawn Care Route Technician in the Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton area .

Who We Are...
What started as selling aluminum awnings in the 1960's turned into 58 years of providing quality lawn care to the northeastern Pennsylvania community. There's quite a number of Michael Kravitskys to keep track of in our story, so try and keep up!
After the awning business started to decline in the early 1960's, Michael Kravitsky III took the business over from his dad, Michael Kravitsky II. He soon added lawn care to its repertoire by purchasing two Lawn-A-Mat franchises from his aluminum supplier, the first in the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton territory and the second in Allentown. Making service calls out of a telephone booth is one humbling way to start out in the lawn care business, but that's just what Kravitsky III did.
When the Lawn-A-Mat corporation ran into financial difficulties in the mid 1980's, the Kravitskys changed the company name to Grasshopper Lawns, Inc. Current owner, Michael Kravitsky IV, had grown up watching his grandfather and father grow their awning and lawn businesses and always knew he would take over one day. For 36 years, Grasshopper operated out of his grandparents' basement in their house in Edwardsville.
In 2001, Grasshopper moved out of the basement and into a much larger space in Larksville, which is where 25 employees, 28 trucks, and all of our equipment calls home. The Kravitsky generation continues on, as Michael Kravitsky V is now an integral part of our business (I told you there were a lot of Kravitskys in this story).

Compensation starts at $20 / hr. Bonuses and benefits plans are also available! We also host bi-weekly company pizza parties, holiday gatherings, and other impromptu functions just to mix up the work week a little bit. Currently, we are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus .
