Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Restaurant Training Administrator to assist with employee training initiatives and ensure our team delivers exceptional service. In this role, you will collaborate with the Training Manager and HR to oversee new hire orientation, develop and update training materials, and ensure staff stay informed on menu and policy changes.
Job Functions
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding process by introducing new hires to company culture, policies, expectations, and training pathways.
- Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop, update, and maintain all training manuals, guides, and other instructional materials in alignment with operational standards.
- Help develop and organize training programs for various roles including servers, cooks, hosts, and managers.
- Assist in conducting interactive training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training, focusing on areas such as customer service, food safety, and operations procedures.
- Maintain accurate training records, scheduling training sessions, and preparing necessary training materials to ensure a smooth and efficient training process.
Requirements, Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality training or administrative role, required.
- Certification on training, instructional design, or hospitality management, preferred.
- Ability to fluently communicate in both English and Spanish, preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cohesively with various departments.
- Flexible schedule: have ability to work evenings and weekends based on training schedules and operational needs.
