Position Overview
The 30 year company supports the petrochemical and manufacturing industry domestically and internationally providing training, occupational medicine, background screening, and innovative solutions to industry. The Research Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring all background orders are compliant under the FCRA along with any state and jurisdiction restrictions.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage inbound calls in a timely manner
- Build strong client relations with internal and external clients
- Communicate with previous employers, educational institutions, and references to validate information reported by applicants
- Review county, state, and federal records
- Communicate with county clerks via telephone/email
- Meet and maintain key performance indicators
- Answer questions from other employees and departments
- Other duties as deemed necessary
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Strong communication skills - written and oral
- Work well both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn detailed procedures
- Proven ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Experience working with confidential information
- Experience with collecting, researching, analyzing, observing, and recovering data
Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalent
- Detail oriented
- Ability to learn custom software applications through training provided by HASC
- Entry-level proficiency in general computer skills
- Proven organizational skills
