Haselden Brothers, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic and Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on automotive systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues with vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed and provide estimates for time required for repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Service Technician preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ford Certification preferred
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
- B-level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
