Your New Role

Based in Phoenix, AZ, as the Controller, you’ll be the financial command center for Haskins Electric. Your day starts with checking on ACHs, keeping the books squeaky clean, and staying in sync with the builders and internal teams. You’ll make sure that bank reconciliations, data entry, and financial reporting are dialed in — all while keeping month-end closings on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements and internal reports
• Record financial transactions in accounting software
• Reconcile bank accounts and track incoming/outgoing funds
• Handle accounts payable/receivable with precision
• Keep databases current through diligent data entry
• Lead and manage office financial personnel (people management)
• Prioritize monthly closing to meet deadlines and expectations

Job requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency with standard office equipment and accounting systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
• Must pass a drug screening (background check not required)
• Must be able to work on-site at our Phoenix, AZ location
