Hasley Canyon Pet Hospital is excited to announce our new General Practice, located in beautiful Castaic, California. Our family-owned animal practice provides preventive, surgical, dental and integrative care to a variety of patients: dogs and cats. We pride ourselves on our dedicated and compassionate team of amazing Veterinarians, Technicians, Assistants, and Receptionists. We work collaboratively as a team to ensure each pet is cared for utilizing the very best of veterinary medicine. We have a wonderful clientele, and providing excellent customer service is a top priority. Our animal medical facility provides quality medicine while striving to make an impact in our community and treat our patients/clients like family.

Why We Need You
As the face of Hasley Canyon Pet Hospital, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. You will help create positive, lasting impressions and build trust and loyalty with clients and their pets.
The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:
- Customer service functions, including greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
- Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
- Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
How You’ll Succeed:
- Comfortable interacting with furry and fuzzy, friends with calm and compassion
- Have strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Be able to lift at least 40 pounds.

The hourly pay band for this position is $18-$22, depending on experience.
