Automotive Detailer (Full - Time)

Automotive Detailer

Full-time position to work Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (with flexibility to stay later occasionally per business needs).

We are seeking an Automotive Detailer to become a part of our Hastings Chrysler Center team!

Core Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspects the vehicle for any noticeable scratches, dents or defects
• Thoroughly washes the exterior and interior of the vehicle using appropriate cleaning solutions
• Uses wax and polish to enhance the vehicle’s shine and to protect the paint
• Cleans and vacuums the interior of the vehicle, ensuring no area is overlooked
• Revitalizes rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials
• Applies fabric protectants to interior surfaces to defend against spills and stains
• Uses pressure washers and other specialized equipment to clean hard-to-reach areas
• Ensures windows and windshields are thoroughly cleaned and streak-free
• Documents all cleaning and maintenance activities
• Coordinates with management for any additional cleaning or repair services required
• Applies dressing on tires and tire wells
• Complies with all company safety policies and procedures. Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection
• Maintains cleanliness of work area

Compensation & Benefits:

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $18.00/hour to $22.00/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, and certification & licensure. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. Qualifications:

Required:

• Valid driver’s license

Preferred:

• Previous automotive detailing experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
