Description
Assemble product in a safe manner according to verbal instruction, written procedures, and company quality standards while working to eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and improve processes.
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- 6 months to 1 year assembly experience preferred
- Reads and understands work instructions, bills of materials and drawings
- Willing to learn product knowledge and understanding of processes of assigned work area
- Willing to learn the function of each piece of operating equipment in assigned area, able to operate each and perform required Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Works toward improving skills through cross-training with other areas
- Able to problem solve as part of a team and individually
- Able to collect information and act promptly based upon good judgment in the best interest of the customer and the company to meet changing conditions
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast changing work environment
- Able to follow through with plans and processes
- Excellent attitude and willing to work as part of a team
- Self-directed and resourceful in performing job duties
- Dependable and motivated
