If so, Human Active Technology (HAT) is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician (QA) to help maintain our high standards and innovative approach to ergonomic office solutions.
What You’ll Do
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our products by performing inspections and maintaining quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting raw materials and finished goods to meet HAT’s quality standards.
- Conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections, as well as First Article inspections.
- Tracking and managing non-conforming materials, investigating issues, and analyzing root causes.
- Performing internal audits and ensuring compliance with quality procedures.
- Using precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and coating thickness gauges.
- Operating Coordinate-Measuring Machines (CMMs) and interpreting geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
- Compiling and analyzing data to maintain high product quality.
- Using Microsoft Excel and other databases to document and manage quality reports.
- Applying Lean Principles to enhance manufacturing processes (preferred).
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection, auditing, or a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, with experience in Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
