Logistics Analyst

Summary:
The Logistics Analyst will support the PM AAA Training Director and Government Property (GP) Manager in the tracking, accounting, movement, storage, and disposal of Government property and training ammunition. This role involves maintaining inventory control systems, preparing transfer documentation, supporting supply chain activities, and overseeing ammunition request and reconciliation processes in accordance with program requirements. The Logistics Analyst will work closely with NETT personnel to ensure property accountability and logistical readiness to support ACV training operations. *Position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
Property Management Support
- Assist in validating and maintaining Government Property (GP) records for PM AAA at Camp Pendleton.
- Support the Responsible Officer (RO)/Responsible Individual (RI) in maintaining GP databases and conducting quarterly inventories.
- Oversee the NET Property Management Control System and maintain related records, metrics, and documentation.
- Prepare transfer and supply documents, including MFRs, KSDs, FLIPLs, DD1348s, and DD1149s.
- Track property throughout its lifecycle—from receipt to formal relief of accountability.
- Support packaging, handling, and transportation arrangements for end items, vehicles, tools, and training support equipment.
Ammunition Management Support
- Maintain the PM AAA, NET Ammunition Tracking Spreadsheet for all training events by fiscal year and training location.
- Update training events, adjust ammunition quantities as directed, and use ammunition calculators to confirm proper unit pack ordering.
- Maintain and reconcile records in the Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS).
- Maintain and annually update the Ammunition Declaration of Authorities (DOA) to control access to training ammunition.
- Process ammunition requests, participate in PM AAA ammunition meetings, and ensure all projections and documentation are accurate and submitted on time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting logistics or training service members in a military period of instruction or program.
- Experience managing and updating property records in a Property Management Control System.
- Ability to prepare, track, and manage logistics documentation for Government property including supply, movement, storage, and disposal actions.
- Experience with ammunition processes, including TAMIS, reconciliation, and DOA documentation.
- Proficient in maintaining logistics records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with property and ammunition accountability standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to interact with Government personnel and training teams.
