A Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex equipment at customer locations, often requiring troubleshooting technical issues, providing on-site support, and ensuring proper functionality of systems by performing routine maintenance checks and upgrades, while maintaining excellent communication with clients throughout the service process.

Our client is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean markets.
They are currently seeking a Field Service Engineering Technician (Level II) for their business in Northern Oregon (Hillsboro / Aloha region), to support their semiconductor equipment (Steppers and Scanners) customers. The position reporting directly into an assigned worksite 5 days a week and must reside close to the assigned area.
Responsibilities :
- Install, repair, calibrate and maintain semiconductor process equipment while minimizing equipment down time. Escalate advanced repairs as needed, to senior level technicians.
- Monitor, inspect and maintain semiconductor equipment to prevent and minimize malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activity and provide periodic reports
- Monitor stock level of service parts and equipment to ensure adequate inventory is available for repair work
- Provide training and assistance to technicians and may provide basic instruction to customers.
- Participate in ongoing technical training to expand technical expertise.
