About The Role:
cyDaptiv Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Middleware Engineer to support mission-critical Navy IT systems. This is an opportunity to lead cutting-edge middleware engineering efforts in a high-impact federal environment, working with WebLogic, Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), and AWS GovCloud.
This is a hybrid role and will require periodic weekend or off-peak work hours for monthly patch installation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Oracle Unified Directory and LDAP solutions
- Configure and maintain Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Identity Management
- Optimize middleware resiliency, availability, and performance
- Implement Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to support Risk Management Framework authorizations
- Execute Oracle quarterly security patching across 100 hosts in Development, Test, and Production environments
- Support AWS GovCloud implementations and operating system conversions
- Assist in decommissioning outdated environments and optimizing new hosting solutions
- Deploy Ansible automation for STIG compliance and system configurations
- Monitor and optimize WebLogic and middleware performance, troubleshooting connectivity, resource limits, and audit event failures
- Resolve user account administration requests, troubleshoot errors, and deploy applications
- Collaborate with application teams to ensure consistent Dev/Test/Production environments
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of Oracle Fusion Middleware experience
- 8 years of LDAP/OUD experience
- IAT Level II Certification (Security CE, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Possess or ability to obtain Computing Environment Certification within 6 months (e.g., Oracle WebLogic, Red Hat Ansible Automation, Linux )
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or engineering.
- Experience supporting DoD/Navy or Federal IT projects
Security Clearance:
- Clearable at the Top-Secret Level
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
