Job Title: Omni National Account Manager - Walmart Account
Job Summary:
The Omni National Account Manager (NAM) at Hatchery Group serves as the key liaison between our clients' cross-functional teams and the retailers we support. Positioned at the intersection of strategy and execution, the NAM drives business success by delivering fact-based, operational solutions. This role reports to the Director of Sales
This role will be based in Northwest Arkansas.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchant Interaction Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart Omni merchants.
- Collaborate with buyers to understand their goals and objectives, and align our strategies accordingly.
- Present new product offerings and omni promotional events effectively to secure placement and drive sales.
Strategic Account Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive account strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and Walmart's omni channel needs.
- Utilize data sets and Luminate Charter analytics to identify growth opportunities and devise action plans to capitalize on them.
- Develop monthly and annual business forecasts in a timely manner, reviewed with Directors and submitted to finance with focus on accuracy.
Data Analysis and Storytelling:
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis across multiple clients and categories to extract meaningful insights from sales, execution, inventory mgmt, and market data.
- Translate data into actionable win-win recommendations for the Client and Retail Partner, telling a compelling story with insights.
- Leverage Luminate Charter insights to develop data-driven proposals.
Reporting and Business Reviews:
- Create and deliver weekly reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and conduct business reviews with Walmart to evaluate progress and discuss strategic adjustments to develop targeted solutions with Clients.
Line Review Process:
- Plan and prepare for line review processes with Walmart.
- Ensure that product assortment, pricing, promotions, and omni activations align with both company and Walmart's objectives.
- Utilize Luminate Charter to make data-driven recommendations for product line adjustments based on category and consumer trends.
National Account Management for Multiple Brands:
- Role of Omni National Account Manager includes managing full scope of the business across multiple brands within our portfolio, including digital.
- Coordinate and align strategies for each brand, taking a holistic approach to identify synergies and optimize overall performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams and with clients to ensure successful execution of Omni Retail plans.
- Work closely with clients to ensure proactive alignment on account strategies and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5 years experience with account management, preferred Walmart experience.
- Proven experience in national account management or in Walmart merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills, preferred Luminate Charter experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and the ability to work independently.
