Job Title: Replenishment Lead
The Replenishment Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the replenishment processes across a portfolio of CPG clients. This role involves developing and executing strategies to ensure the efficient flow of products from suppliers to retail partners, minimizing stock outs and excess inventory, and enhancing overall supply chain performance. The Replenishment Lead will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to drive inventory accuracy, availability, and efficiency while creating/developing solutions that can be operationalized by the client logistics and supply chain teams. This role will report into the Director of Replenishment.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning:
· Develop and implement replenishment strategies that align with the company's overall supply chain and business goals.
· Collaborate with client supply chain & logistics teams, sales team and Walmart Inc replenishment to create and execute collaborative supply chain plans.
· Provide tools, capabilities & resources to support RMs in execution of Omni commerce strategies across all appropriate clients: Item Cleanup, Order Processing, In-stock & Fill Rate Tracking, align with sales team & client on Seasonal & Promotional Demand
· Establish process for new client setup and establishment in Walmart (and other retailer) systems through qualified guidance and direct execution of vendor setup, or NAM & client coaching of required processes
Process Improvement:
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance replenishment efficiency and effectiveness.
· Stay current with industry best practices and technologies and apply them to the Hatchery’s replenishment processes.
Data Analytics Inventory Management:
· Access, analyze and interpret business indicators related to shipments, inventory, share and consumption on a weekly and trend basis.
· Manage direct relationship with 3PL provider, meeting service levels, inventory and forecast goals.
· Lead Replenishment across client joint business planning (JBP) to identify improvement opportunities based on historical performance gaps.
· Identification and tracking of KPIs of 98.5% In-stock, 98% Fill Rate, a 98% On-time performance across assigned client base with actionable intelligence for issue resolution.
· Demand Planning to include Strategic Inventory Analysis, Brand Planning, Seasonal & Promotional Strategies, Store Specific Orders (SSO), & Weekly Low Inventory Reporting (LIR) to provide clients with Weekly Cut Reports that include Root Cause Analysis & Back In-Stock (BIS) Dates.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Four- year Degree in supply chain or related field or equivalent related experience.
· 5 years extensive experience in a replenishment role
· Experience in leading replenishment strategy and carrying out tactics in a collaborative team environment.
· Experience contributing to and/or managing special projects including those that require multiple skills and varying levels of complexity, collaboration, and leadership.
· Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment, blended with on-site work as appropriate and required.
· Understanding of retail performance metrics, replenishment strategies, and a solid knowledge and understanding of inventory management.
· High level understanding of warehousing, logistics, and inventory relative to order processing, distribution and delivery of orders for both pre-paid and collect clients.
· Superior customer service and communication skills (verbal and written) and empathetic customer communication approach.
· Ability to tell a story with data and develop the “customer ask” in a clear, concise way.
