Hatchet Logistics is seeking a motivated, high-performing individuals to join our team as Logistics Coordinator.
This is an IN PERSON role. Monday-Friday 0800-1700.
In this role, you'll manage customer shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring the smooth flow of logistics operations and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
No prior experience in logistics is necessary; we will teach you everything you need to know about logistics, supply chain management, and transportation coordination. Top applicants will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
During training, you will support and collaborate with an experienced account manager to help streamline operations and ensure customer satisfaction. Once training is complete, you will take on more responsibility, managing shipments, resolving issues, and ensuring that our logistics processes run efficiently, 24/7/365.
This position will qualify for a comission structure pertaining to new business once the probationary period has expired.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with sales teams and specialized carriers to build and maintain ongoing relationships
- Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time.
- Support order fulfillment and dispatching activities to meet customer demands.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
- Utilize software tools for data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- College degree preferred, but we have successful leaders without one
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle conflict

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.35 - $22.09 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
