Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead a high-impact migration project for our client's Property Maintenance operations system, transitioning from UKG to Workday. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless migration while maintaining system integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities-
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for the UKG to Workday migration.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and resolutions.
- Conduct project meetings to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.

Migration Oversight:
- Oversee the technical and operational transition from UKG to Workday, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
- Collaborate with IT, HR, and Property Maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.

Documentation and Training:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all project phases, including workflows, system configurations, and migration steps.
- Develop training materials and lead sessions to onboard staff to the new system.

Experience:
- Proven experience managing migration projects, specifically involving UKG and Workday.
- A minimum of 5 years in project management roles, preferably in IT or system implementation.

- Strong understanding of both UKG and Workday platforms, including configuration, workflows, and data structures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Project Management certifications (PMP, Agile, or similar) are a plus.
- Experience in Property Maintenance operations or related industries.
- Hands-on experience with system data migration, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with hybrid work environments and the ability to adapt to onsite collaboration.
- Role requires a hybrid schedule, with 2 days onsite in Sacramento, CA, and the remaining days remote.
