Key Responsibilities
- FICO Rule Development: Perform analysis, design, and development of FICO rules utilizing the RMA development tool. Lead the development activities of a team of rules developers as part of a product team.
- Team Leadership: Oversee enhancements and new business rules, ensuring integration of technical, architectural, and business requirements. Act as the lead rules designer to identify optimal solutions and create corresponding technical specifications within the limitations of the code environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and Architects to translate business needs into technical solutions. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Technical Specifications: Develop detailed technical specifications that guide the coding and implementation of business rules, ensuring they meet the organization’s standards and requirements.
- Internal Screening: Participate in internal screening processes before candidate profiles are submitted to the end client.
- End Client Interviews: Prepare candidates for interviews with the end client, ensuring they are informed about the role's requirements and expectations.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 4 years of Information Technology experience, OR
- Technical Certification and/or college courses plus 6 years of Information Technology experience, OR
- 8 years of Information Technology experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with the FICO Blaze business rules engine or similar enterprise BRMS (e.g., Corticon, InRule, Drools).
- Strong capabilities in architecting and designing complex rulesets and decision structures, with a proven ability to integrate with other system components seamlessly.
- Knowledge Areas:
- Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOAP / REST) and APIs.
- Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, and Java.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and provide multiple options for business solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to articulate solutions visually.
- Leadership Experience: Experience leading a team of rules developers, including task assignments and project allocation tracking across multiple initiatives.
- Methodologies: Understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Iterative Development.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
