- CPE Network Trouble Shooter
- 12 month contract
- Location: 14810 Grasslands Dr Englewood Colorado 80112
- 4-5 days a week onsite, must relo day 1 of starting
- No visa restrictions
- Must have skills:
- DOCSIS, ONU, CMTS, DAC, EC, Troubleshooting, Debugging and CPE (Customer Premise Equipment).
- Troubleshoots and resolves escalated Access and CPE device field issues.
- Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps.
- Establishes security, connectivity and access parameters.
- Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
- Tests and tunes security devices and systems.
- Programs routers and switches.
- Implements communications technologies (data or voice).
- Manages network services from planning phase through implementation.
- Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required.
- 10 years of experience.
- Advanced knowledge of the DOCSIS and EPON standards
- Working knowledge of CMTS platforms including:
- Casa C100G
- Arris E6000
- Cisco cBR8
- RPHY
- Harmonic vCMTS and RPDs
- Working knowledge of EPON platforms including:
- ADTRAN 95XX and SDX-6210
- Vecima (Nokia) 7360 and Distributed Access Architecture SF-4x, SC-2D3
- Working knowledge of switch platforms including:
- Cisco NCS/ASR
- Juniper PTX/QFX/ACX
- Working knowledge of routing protocols including:
- OSPF
- ISIS
- BGP
- v4/v6 Multicast
- Ability to write technical documentation
- Ability to write and follow detailed technical test plans
- CPE and ONU background in trouble shooting is highly desirable
- Creative Network Trouble Shooting Skills.
