Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using the Karate framework and Java programming language to ensure the quality of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and contribute to test planning.
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and develop new automated testing solutions.
- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and other types of testing as required.
- Review and analyze system specifications and develop automated test scripts based on the specifications.
- Provide training and support to team members in the use of automated testing tools and best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Minimum of 7 years of recent experience in test automation.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Karate framework for automated testing.
- Proficient in writing test code in Java and understanding object-oriented programming concepts.
- Strong knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be currently located in the greater Phoenix, AZ area.
- Applicants must be available to work onsite in Scottsdale, AZ, 2-3 days a week.
