Key Responsibilities
- Workday Recruiting Configuration:
- Design, implement, test, and maintain Workday Recruiting business processes, ensuring they meet the specific recruiting needs of the organization. This includes configuring workflows for job requisitions, candidate management, interview processes, and hiring workflows.
- Customize recruiting-related functionalities to enhance the efficiency of hiring managers and recruiters.
- Workday Studio Integrations:
- Develop, test, and maintain Workday Studio integrations that ensure seamless communication between Workday Recruiting and external systems such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), onboarding platforms, and background check providers.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and manage the data flow between Workday and third-party applications.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
- Lead UAT cycles to validate Workday Recruiting configurations against business requirements. Ensure that all recruiting processes, from job posting to candidate tracking and hiring, function correctly before deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to run tests and identify potential issues that may affect the recruitment process.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work directly with HR stakeholders, recruitment teams, and other key business partners to gather requirements, present solutions, and implement updates within Workday Recruiting.
- Ensure alignment between business goals and recruiting functionalities within the Workday system.
- Workday Recruiting Expertise:
- Extensive experience in Workday Recruiting, including configuring and maintaining business processes, optimizing recruiting workflows, and managing the module’s integration capabilities.
- Ability to configure the Recruiting module for end-to-end recruiting processes such as job requisition creation, candidate tracking, interview scheduling, offer approvals, and hire processes.
- Workday Studio for Recruiting:
- Proven hands-on experience with Workday Studio, specifically for building, testing, and managing recruiting-related integrations. This includes integration with third-party systems for onboarding, background checks, and applicant tracking.
- Core Setup & Security Frameworks:
- Experience with core recruiting setup, including ensuring that roles, permissions, and access controls are properly configured to maintain security and integrity in the Workday Recruiting data.
- Workday Recruiting Business Processes:
- Strong understanding of recruiting business processes within Workday, including creating and optimizing workflows for job postings, interview tracking, and candidate selection. Ability to adapt these processes to meet business-specific needs.
- Testing & Validation Expertise:
- Extensive experience in leading UAT testing cycles to validate recruiting configurations, ensuring that all functionalities are aligned with the organizational needs and that any issues are identified and resolved prior to deployment.
- Analytical Skills & Process Improvement:
- Ability to analyze recruiting processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions that optimize efficiency within Workday Recruiting. Strong problem-solving skills to address any configuration or integration issues that arise.
- Collaborative Communication:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with HR, talent acquisition, and technical teams. The candidate must be able to gather requirements, explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and align system configurations with organizational goals.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Workday Recruiting configurations, business processes, and integrations. Focused on identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
- Hybrid Work Environment: The role requires onsite presence three days a week at one of the designated locations: Chicago, Richmond, or Kennesaw.
- The contract is for 12-24 months, with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
