Job Description:
The Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Assistant’s primary role is to support the SEL efforts primarily within Hatfield Elementary School (Kindergarten to 6th grade) but will also support Smith Academy (grades 7-12) as needed. The SEL Assistant will be assigned tasks that focus on supporting students’ emotional and behavioral needs as well as school/district SEL goals and missions. The SEL Assistant should expect to receive coaching, consultation and being part of an overall SEL school/district program.
Job Responsibilities:
Primary On-Call Student Emotional/Behavior Support at HES
Support Safety Team as needed
Collaborate with SEL team to support SEL goals and missions
Proactive SEL Student Support
Behavior Data support
SEL curriculum support
School Climate support
Other SEL duties as assigned
