SUMMARY
Hathaway Brown Summer Programs are a dynamic and inclusive summer camp providing children with a fun, safe, and enriching experience. We offer various activities—from sports and arts to outdoor adventures and team-building exercises—that inspire confidence, creativity, and lasting friendships.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a group of campers in daily activities, including sports, arts and crafts, nature hikes, and team-building exercises.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive camp atmosphere.
- Develop and implement engaging activities that align with camp goals.
- Build relationships with campers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in the setup, cleanup, and organization of camp facilities and supplies.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary.
- Communicate effectively with campers, staff, and parents.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate.
- Experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, coaching, mentoring) preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude with a passion for making a difference in kids’ lives.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
