Achieve Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) implement day programs and activities for residents living at the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities. Activities include center-based experiences, community trips, and community volunteer activities. T

Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GEDMust be at least 18 years old and have an Ohio Driver's License.CPR and First Aid Certification - free training provided!Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.Must have experience providing personal care which includes changing, bathing, and dressing.Duties :
Responsible for making decisions regarding types of habilitations, prevocational and vocational opportunities and with community service projects, that are developmentally appropriate and accommodating to each person served, then implementing these opportunities.Implement programming as indicated in individuals' Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP).Provide suggestions for programs and activities for individuals with disabilities. Document attendance and implementation of programs run in day program.Assist individuals' in participating in community trips. Conduct vocational and habilitative activities as part of a coordinated day program and on the units.Rewards & Benefits :
