POSITION SUMMARY : The Certified Medical Assistant performs clerical and telephone duties to facilitate departmental operations and efficiency. The CMA will focus on quality metric achievements for all value-based programs.
QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum requirements will include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program; current CMA certification; phlebotomy and CPR certifications.
Personal skills include a willingness to assign a high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction; the ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to work compatibly with providers, other department members, and employees in other Clinic departments.
Physical guidelines include ability to stand / walk for up to twelve hours / day, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, assist patients in arising from exam table, push wheelchair patients, and assist patients in arising from and returning to wheelchair.
WORK SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
