What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse, Triage - Ear Nose and Throat position at Hattiesburg Clinic?
POSITION SUMMARY : The Triage / Procedure Nurse (LPN) performs patient-oriented procedures under the direction of ENT Manager and Physicians. The Triage / Procedure Nurse performs duties associated with telephone calls (patient calls, referrals, pharmacy, etc.), set-up & / or assist with in-office medical / surgical procedures, direct patient care, and clerical duties when needed to facilitate departmental operations and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum requirements will include current licensure as an LPN, experience in a clinical setting (CPR training recommended), ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and physicians; ability to accept responsibility and maintain confidentiality. Physical guidelines include ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, lift, twist, assist patients in arising from examination table or wheelchair, push wheelchairs and assist patients with ambulation.
WORK SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
