Summary
This position is responsible for the fabrication, service and repair of prosthetic devices.
Essential Functions
- Fabricate, maintain, and repair prosthetic devices, according to prescription specifications and under guidance of a prosthetist.
- Fabrication from a mould to final socket, including; Test sockets, flexible inner socket, lightweight carbon laminations, high definition graphics laminations.
- Suction, Vacuum, Pin, expandible wall sockets, as well as peelite liners.
- Knowledge of Silicone partial feet is a plus
- Tests device for freedom of movement, alignment of parts, and biomechanical stability.
- Complete work orders as assigned.
- Maintenance of all equipment and tools in the lab.
- Maintain and clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in a lab environment. This role routinely uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, compressed air and measuring devices.
Physical Demands
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; squat; bend; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/pull/push with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum Five years of experience in an clinical Lab setting
- Registered tech would be nice
- Able to work overtime
