Assistant Area Maintenance Manager

We are currently seeking an Assistant Area Maintenance Manager to be based out of Tuscaloosa, AL. As a cemetery maintenance contractor, our primary services include lawn maintenance, burials and marker/memorial installations. The strength in our service comes with the ability to manage our manpower and resources effectively.

Primary Duties will include;

• Management of all site personnel engaged in cemetery operations.

• Management of any in-house and contracted lawn crews.

• Management of all equipment for safety and preventative maintenance.

• Recruitment, training, scheduling, employee retention and policy compliance.

• Submission of required reports and distribution of company documents.

• Compliance with the operating procedures and safety rules.

• Communication and cooperation with customer representatives.

Your position will play an important role in the overall success of our operations. We are seeking a dependable team leader capable of consistently providing positive results in a safe and supportive work environment.

The job will operate on a flexible work shift that may require extended hours and/or weekends as necessary. The salary pays up to $52k per year and will be contingent upon qualifications and work experience. • Experience operating a backhoe and tractor

• Experience supervising work crews*

• Ability to perform all job functions of subordinate employees

• Ability to communicate effectively

• You will be required to pass a drug screen and background check

• You will need to have a good driving record
