Operations Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Operations Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various commercial vehicles to customer locations, yards, and work sites. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and adherence to safety regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for customers, always maintaining excellent public relations and professionalism.
• Execute customer service requests and manage material logistics
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment at various locations
• Communicate professionally with company representatives, fellow drivers, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Be flexible and ready to take on additional tasks as assigned
• Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while complying with traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities transported and any discrepancies encountered using a handheld device.
• Communicate effectively with the Regional Supervisor regarding delivery status and any issues that arise during transport.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and handling materials, promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
