Description
Haun Welding Supply is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Associate to join our team. The Credit Associate will be responsible for managing credit holds, collecting past due accounts, resolving customer issues, and processing payments and credit applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Manage credit holds and review and respond to credit holds in a timely manner
- Utilize aging reports to monitor and collect past due accounts
- Collect past due accounts and resolve customer issues
- Process credit card payments and applications
- Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions
- Communicate with customers regarding their credit status and resolve any issues that arise
- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of credit transactions
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in credit and collections
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of credit and collections laws and regulations
