Who We’re Looking For:
You’re equal parts designer and doer—comfortable drafting floorplans in AutoCAD, coordinating with vendors, running a tight project timeline, and offering creative input on materials and layouts. You’re excited about joining a small, dynamic team where every day is different, and your contributions make a visible impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Principal Designer on active projects across all phases
- Create and revise floor plans, elevations, and details using AutoCAD (required)
- Manage project schedules, calendars, and client appointments
- Source furniture, finishes, and materials; assist in maintaining sample library
- Prepare mood boards, presentations, and spec sheets for client meetings
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and showrooms as needed
- Assist with site visits, installations, and walkthroughs
- Run occasional errands (material pickups, showroom visits, etc.)
- Provide administrative support to keep the studio running smoothly
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a discerning design eye
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Positive attitude, resourceful, and eager to learn
- Motivated, proactive, and excited to contribute to the firm’s growth
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience or education in interior design, architecture, or related field preferred
