Job Summary
The IT Systems Technician supports the IT/OT Manager in the day-to-day operations, as well as with IT related projects. This individual will work closely with company staff to assist in all areas of IT Systems, desktop support, printers, networking, and security.
Benefits – Medical, dental and vision; STD, LTD and Life company paid; 401k with company match. Employee pays only 15% of medical cost at $19.11/week for Single and $57.33/week for Family coverage (2025 Rates). Company contributes HSA dollars annually of $1,000 for a Single and $2,000 for a Family.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, plan, train and review the work of staff responsible for processing production, Technical Support: Assist end-users with IT issues, including hardware & software issues, installing & configuring software applications, and other technical problems.
- Network Administration: Assist in maintaining, monitoring, and installation of network systems. Help with network installation, configuration, and optimization projects.
- System Administration: Aid in setup, configuration, managing, and maintenance of systems, including the company’s ERP system.
- Documentation: Assist in documenting IT processes, procedures, and configurations. Update documentation as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Project Assistance: Support IT projects with research, testing, and implementation tasks. Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.
- User Training: Assist users on IT systems and best practices. Provide guidance and support to users to enhance their productivity.
- Creates custom report writing and dashboards as prioritized by management
- Designs, builds, and maintains relational databases using SQL, or Structured Query Language

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related program.
- Experience with networking and Microsoft Windows system.
- 3-5 years of experience in information technology
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Organized, motivated, self-starter, adaptive, and punctual.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively manage time and multitask.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in Plex or an ERP system
- Manufacturing Experience
- Proficiency in one or more PLC programming languages like ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Provide necessary papers allowing holder to work legally in the United States.
