Job Summary
Remove foreign material and produce defects within produce, document the foreign material, and end of day shutdown.
Benefits – Medical, dental and vision; STD, LTD and Life company paid; 401k with company match. Employee pays only 15% of medical cost at $19.11/week for Single and $57.33/week for Family coverage (2025 Rates). Company contributes HSA dollars annually of $1,000 for a Single and $2,000 for a Family.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Fill out Pre-Safety Sheet
- Place Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P) at workstation storage location
- Remove foreign material, rotten, broken produce, and bloaters at the inspection line.
- Document foreign material found on the ‘Foreign Object Report (QA.1611.01)’
- Able to Operate H.M.I touch screen
- Understanding of E-Stop location and function.
- Monitor line for Jam-ups.
- Manually adjust Inspection Belt Diverter for correct product flow or as directed.
- Communicate with line operator when produce condition changes
- Assist SPC Technician with blade checks when needed.
- Shut down line per ‘Produce Inspector Operator Shutdown Checklist (QA.1611.91)’
- Keep work area free from debris (Discard fallen Pickle/Pepper produce from decking and floor)
- Able to operate Lafferty or Hot Water Stations
- Rinse down trash chute at end of run.
- Remove S.O.P from workstation storage location at end of day.
- Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policy.
- Regular attendance
- Responsible for cross-department job-sharing in areas such as: production; quality; warehouse; tank-yard; and rework
Additional Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous production experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Should have good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to efficiently coordinate work with co-workers and take orders from superiors.
- Awareness of the safety and official procedures for handling good and supplies.
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet set targets and deadlines.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Provide necessary papers allowing holder to work legally in the United States.
