Hausmann has steadily matured into one of the regions premier commercial general contracting, construction management, and design-build firms. Our team is looking for a Facilities and Grounds Superintendent to lead the management of all outdoor spaces and facilities related to Hausmann Construction.
This position is responsible for the year round and day-to-day management of the facilities and grounds enterprise that includes operations and a hands-on approach of planning, directing and coordinating all functions and employees related to maintaining aesthetically-pleasing, safe and functional outdoor spaces and facilities.
Primary duties center around planning, organizing, and evaluating daily operations of outdoor spaces and facilities to include scheduling and specifying policies, procedures, equipment, and manpower, developing long-range plans for improvements to grounds and maintaining cohesive landscaping and overall conditions of all grounds and facilities, and training and supervising processes and manpower for snow and ice control/removal per property guidelines.
The ability to work productively with others, maintain open lines of communication and demonstrate problem-solving skills are all attributes we seek from successful applicants. We are seeking candidates with an associates or bachelors degree in landscaping or a related field, a minimum of three years of experience working in the landscaping or a related field, and previous supervisory experience.
