What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at HAUTE COFFEE?
Haute Coffee is a very popular, upbeat coffee café located in Concord Center, currently seeking a full time or part time baker.
A little about us...We make all our doughs, batters, and baked goods in-house, from-scratch, daily. We love to create our recipes based on the seasons and encourage our bakers to be creative and bring their passion to our cafe! We have our Haute original recipes but we would love to see what recipes and traditions inspire your baking.
Days are flexible but one weekend day is required. Hours are from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

- Strong work ethic, punctual and dependable.
- Experience in restaurant kitchen operations, with BAKING experience; a love of baking and desire to learn and grow in the position.
- Working at a busy pace - be quick, accurate, organized; think ahead, be prepared.
- Respectful attitude with co-workers, friendly team member, flexibility, sense of humor.
- Customer service attitude, team member attitude, flexible attitude.
- Be willing and able to learn from feedback, communicate respectfully.
- Solid references.
EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare ingredients and organize equipment; follow recipes, baking steps, timing, and verbal instructions exactly.
- Create doughs and batters, cookies, cakes, bars, scones, tea breads, muffins, and specialty pastries from scratch.
- Properly use and care for equipment.
- Maintain spotless & organized work area as-you-go; properly follow food safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Assist with planning baking menu and schedule, including creation of new specialty items.
- Set-out baked goods in attractive presentation and keep retail area full with fresh items.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of product line; and detailed knowledge of special dietary options (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free).
- Pitch in on tasks as needed - such as help unload food deliveries, opening or closing tasks.
- Serve-Safe certified a plus (but not required).
