POSITION
We’re looking for a creative, organized and proactive On-Site Digital Marketing Account Manager based in Los Angeles to be the face of Haute Locals for our clients and lead our operations team in Mexico to ensure deliverables are met on time and according to expectations. This role focuses on capturing content on location, reviewing deliverables for quality, and working closely with our Mexico Project Manager to ensure client expectations are met. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the content creation process from the ground up, guaranteeing that all materials align with client goals and meet our quality standards before final approval.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- On-Site Content Capture: Visit client locations to capture high-quality content (photos, videos, and live updates) in line with the brand strategy and client goals.
- Reel Editing & Optimization: Edit short-form video content, including reels, to create engaging, on-brand visuals with the right music to resonate with the client’s audience and meet platform requirements.
- Content Quality Review: Carefully proofread and review content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality before submitting to clients. Act as the last layer of quality control.
- Cross-Border Communication: Work closely with the Mexico-based Account Manager, providing updates, sharing client feedback, and aligning on content strategies. Ensure seamless communication to maintain consistent messaging and expectations.
- Client Coordination & Relationship Management: Serve as a client-facing representative in the US, maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients and addressing any real-time concerns or requests.
- Strategic Content Support: Collaborate with the Mexico Account Manager and creative team to develop and execute content strategies, trends, ensuring all on-site needs are met and messaging aligns with client goals.
- Project Management: Coordinate timelines and deliverables with the Project Manager, ensuring everything is on schedule and any potential delays or issues are communicated with clients and internal teams. Coordinate photoshoots with the photographer and videographer as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Social Media Manager, or similar role in a digital marketing agency, with a strong background in copywriting.
- Preferred experience in the hospitality industry (restaurants, wineries, etc.).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, functionality, and trends.
- Familiarity with social media content creation and digital marketing best practices.
- Proven experience in photography and video production for social media.
- Excellent proofreading and quality assurance skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Self-starter with a commitment to client satisfaction and quality content.
- Ability to manage up if deadlines are at risk.
- Able to work independently, travel locally as needed, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Fluent in English (bilingual Spanish preferred but not required).
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a smartphone capable of capturing high-quality images and video (4K resolution).
- Reliable transportation for local travel to client locations.
- Physical ability to navigate various settings, including walking up and down stairs.
