Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fabrication and installation of custom metalwork for architectural and ornamental projects. You will work closely with your team of fabricators to create unique, high-end metal pieces, including railings, staircases, gates, balustrades, decorative panels, and other custom metalwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to fabricate metal components accurately.
• Proficiently execute metal fabrication processes such as cutting, welding, grinding, etc. on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Maintain standards of quality and specifications for design, dimensions, and finishes.
• Collaborate with your team to resolve technical challenges and ensure feasibility of designs.
• Install fabricated metal pieces on-site, ensuring correct fitting and alignment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols and procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and care for machinery and tools.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and production schedules.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a metal fabricator, with at least some years in architectural and ornamental metalwork preferred.
• Proficient in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), cutting, grinding, and other metalworking techniques.
• Experience with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a fabrication shop and on construction sites.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or apprenticeship a plus).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with building railings.
• Familiarity with metal finishing, and other post-fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of structural welding codes and certifications (AWS, etc.).
