Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers receive prompt, friendly service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
• Provide detailed information about menu items and make recommendations to enhance guest experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain sanitation standards throughout the service area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is beneficial.
