We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and measuring portions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Assist with catering events as needed, providing support in food preparation and service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
- Help maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to use various kitchen equipment effectively.
