Direct Service Professional Job Description
This is a full-time position that requires evening and weekend shifts. You can earn additional income by completing 60 units of training or having two years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of individuals with developmental disabilities in their home and community.
- Assistance with daily tasks, such as cleaning, transportation, personal hygiene, shopping, and cooking, as outlined in the individual's plan.
Requirements:
- Age: 18 years or older.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid Ohio driver's license with a good driving record (less than 6 points).
- Satisfactory background check and drug test.
- Completion of certification requirements for regulatory or licensing agencies, if necessary.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
