Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support the Human Resources department in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in managing administrative tasks, supporting recruitment efforts, and serving as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a people-focused attitude, and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
- Assist with processing payroll and benefits administration.
- Coordinate employee training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
- Support performance management processes, including tracking evaluations and providing relevant documentation.
- Address employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities and initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, and assist in audits or compliance-related matters.
- Collaborate with various departments to support HR projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in an HR role or administrative position.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Familiarity with Workers' Comp/Unemployment Claims
- Proficiency in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage employees at all levels.
- High level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Experience in ADP-WorkForce Now
