DIRECTOR, ANALYTICS
Havas Media North America is looking for a Director to join the Analytics Team. As part of our global community of 10,000 team members, we focus on using Meaningful Media to make a meaningful difference for brands, businesses, and people.
The Director of Analytics is responsible for managing the Analytics team and collaborating with account teams and clients to perform media and web analytics, provide optimization recommendations, and conduct decision modeling. This includes report design, data capture development, and implementation processes. The Director will work with various data sources to continuously evolve the metrics used to measure the effectiveness and ROI of activities across all campaign types.
A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
- Assisting in business development by collaborating with partners and clients to develop and implement new analytical methodologies aimed at increasing revenue.
- Overseeing marketing performance analysis for client engagements, understanding business goals, and designing tailored analytical approaches.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop client tools and services such as modeling, dashboard development, decision aids, and business case analysis to support programs and creative solutions.
- Working closely with the team to provide specific and actionable recommendations for clients, creating project proposals to generate new client engagements and workstreams.
- Developing long-term data strategies and analytics roadmaps for clients.
- Partnering seamlessly across the enterprise to access information and drive strategies and implementation.
- Coordinating operations and procedures across multiple data functions and leading the analytics group in managing projects and resources.
- Cultivating strong relationships with staff, internal partners, and clients.
- Advocating for process changes that align with the department and organization’s vision.
- Managing a team of 4-6 employees.
- Promoting process and organizational efficiency through automation.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED/SKILLS:
- 7 years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence, with a focus on analytics.
- Experience in the digital media space is preferred.
- Proven ability to apply cutting-edge analytics techniques to solve business challenges and leverage external thinking from emerging technologies.
- Strong ability to translate data into insights that illuminate customer needs and behavioral drivers.
- Deep understanding of advanced analytics, including modeling, audience segmentation, value analysis, and hands-on experience integrating data across core analytics platforms (e.g., website metrics, social media, mobile, email campaigns, e-commerce).
- Capable of providing points of view and showcasing expertise in advanced analytics techniques and ad effectiveness research.
- Track record of implementing operational excellence, generating process efficiencies, and piloting new tools and technologies in analytics functions.
- Strong collaborative mindset, promoting teamwork across organizational boundaries and sharing techniques with the analytical community.
- Comfort and experience in writing and executing scopes of work and managing cross-functional resources.
