QUALIFICATIONS::
- Must qualify for gaming license
- Cannot be convicted of felony
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and food handlers’ certifications
- Must possess basic math skills
- Knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and wine helpful
- Must have prior cash handling experience
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS::
- Must have a good sense of balance and the ability to lift trays of drinks frequently weighing up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stretch and lift up to 45 lbs. repeatedly
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 4 hours at a time
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES::
- Provide great customer service
- Serve cocktails/beverages to customers in the bar and on the casino floor
- Takes drink orders from customers (alcoholic/non-alcoholic)
- Track all nonalcoholic drinks in Point of Sales system (POS)
- Assist Casino patrons by directing them to or calling a Slot Tech, Security Officer, Manager, etc.
- General cleaning and maintenance of work area
- Receive deliveries of cigarettes and store cases in designated areas
- Make regular rounds through the main Casino floor, dispensing soft drinks, delivery and collection of cash and charge liquor items
- Must be able to comply with all gaming regulations as applied and S.O.P. cash handling policies
- Follow proper cash handling procedures, including opening and closing out tabs
- Work closely with bartenders and other servers to ensure efficient service
- Communicate effectively with team members, leads and management
- Assist in training new staff members as needed
- Assist in stocking and replenishing the bar with supplies and beverages
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Follow all Casino policies and procedures
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol, including checking IDs as necessary
- All other duties as assigned
