Position Summary:
Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Reports to: Supervisor and Director of Outpatient Imaging
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree Radiologic Technology preferred
Graduate of a Program Radiologic Technology Required
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
AZ. MRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist
Registry: American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) R.T. (R), (CT)
OR (ARRT) R.T. (R) in Preceptorship
AZ. MRT Certified Computed Tomography Technologist.
OR AZ MRT Computed Tomography Preceptorship or Temporary Computed Tomography Technologist
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Previous hospital experience in CT is preferred.
