Position Summary
The primary purpose of the multi care technician position is to assist the professional nursing staff by working as a certified nurses assistant, unit clerk and monitoring cardiac rhythms for those patients the physician has placed on telemetry. Performs various duties related to the assigned nursing unit in accordance with established Hospital Policies and Procedures.
Under the supervision of healthcare provider, performs a variety of basic patient care activities.
Reports to departmental unit manager/director.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- AZ CNA or LNA license on hire.
- CNA experience preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

EKG Interpretation within 90 days
