Position Summary:
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The primary purpose of the RNFA position is to assist the surgeon and team in operative procedures. The role also performs pre-operative procedures such as selection and placement of appropriate surgical instruments, supplies and equipment; to scrub and provide instruments, sutures and other sterile supplies during surgical procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
- An Active Arizona RN License or Compact License required.
- National First Assist Certification preferred.
- BLS and ACLS Required
