Position Summary:
The primary purpose of the cardiovascular program surgery and open heart coordinator position is to assist the Surgical Director in the implementation and coordination of the cardiovascular program and services. Additionally provides leadership by working cooperatively and effectively with physicians, ancillary staff and other administrative and support personnel in maintaining the standards of surgical practice in the multidisciplinary clinical setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
- An Active Arizona RN License or Compact License required.
- BLS Required within 30 days of hire.
- Arterial Line Placement required within 6 months of hire.
- 2 years of experience with Open Heart Surgery required.
- Must have one of the following certifications – Registered Nurse; Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified First Assist (FA)
