What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Havco Wood Products, LLC?
Material Handler Scott City Plant
Material handlers support plant operations by stacking our components onto saw racks, keeping racks full for defect sawyers on an processing line, and occasionally filling roles in other areas of operation. The successful candidate should have reliable attendance, positive attitude, and work well with others.
Physical demends of this position include standing 8-9 hours per day, repetive movements of bending, lifting up to 20 lbs, and continued use of hands/arms. Candidate must also be able to work in non-temperature controlled environment in summer months and be available for overtime requirements as needed.
This position provides on-the-job training and does not require a HS diploma. Use of hand tools and some basic math knowledge is preferred. Safety must be a top priority.
