**Job Description:**
Haven Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Haven Behavioral Hospital of West Chester. As a Full-time Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health and substance abuse issues.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients. You will also have the opportunity to supervise Behavioral Health Technicians and assume the role of Charge Nurse when assigned.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and provides nursing interventions to patients as assigned
- Maintain a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per facility policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients
- Provide supervision to Behavioral Health Technicians. Assume role of Charge Nurse when assigned
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Two years as Registered Nurse with one year acute psychiatric experience preferred
