Job Summary
- Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct patient care to patients as assigned.
- Carries out all aspects of patient care and other assignments as directed by the Charge Nurse.
- Observes and communicates changes in patient condition or behavior to the Charge Nurse/RN.
- Intervenes appropriately with patients experiencing a behavioral crisis situation.
- Provides support and assistance to patients with daily activities, meals, grooming, ambulation, and toileting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One year acute inpatient experience with psychiatric care preferred.
